The school supplies all necessary equipment to the sector’s highest standards:
fibreglass Kayaks with watertight compartments, Greenland (or asymmetrical) paddle, paddle float, life-jacket, skirt, watertight bag, route map and wetsuit. Facilities for a hot shower on return to base.

For those interested in serious instruction in sea-kayaking, “Sea Kayak Italy” offers sea kayak course with its instructors, who are registered with FICT, FICK and Sottocosta.
Courses are of two levels:
Basic course: 10 hours of lessons over two days (lessons from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. and from 3 to 5 p.m.) at a cost of € 180.00.
Advanced course: 10 hours of lessons over two days (lessons from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. and from 3 to 5 p.m.) at a cost of
€ 180.00.
At the end of the courses, participants will receive a certificate of FICT / Sottocosta.

Skilled kayakers only may hire kayaks from our school at Marciana Marina (20 km from Portoferraio) at the following rates :

€ 30.00 for 1/2 a day (10 a.m. to 1p.m. or 3 to 6 p.m.);
€ 35.00 for 1 day (10 a.m. to 6 p.m.);
€ 40.00 for 1 day + night (10 a.m. to 10 a.m.).
